The survey has concluded that the majority of our YouTube subscribers prefer electronic products over everything else. While this post does not necessarily focus on the sub-$20 gadgets, we are covering the best-selling electronics from this year, some of which already have over 100,000 orders!
XIAOMI MI BAND 3
100,000+ Orders on the newest Xiaomi's fitness band. The Mi Band 3 is an excellent value activity tracker. Fully waterproof and offers extraordinary battery life, plus time, date, weather and important notifications.
PORTABLE 1080p PROJECTOR
This projector is able to support Full HD videos. It produces a 480p image and can work for up to 1.5 hours on a single charge, which is pretty impressive for the size that it comes in.
41,000+ Orders on the new model of Baseus earphones. You can either buy 3 x 1 pairs of mediocre no-name ones, but these will objectively be 3x better in terms of quality of the build and the sound.
DJI OSMO STABILIZER
DJI is a pioneer brand that is well-known for consumer drones with built-in cameras (and by extension, stabilizers), and OSMO is their budget handheld stabilizer that is meant to compete with established players in the field, like Zhiyun.
BOBOVR Z4 VR HEADSET
VR is becoming more widely acceptable, with more and games and videos produced for the consumption, and real-estate and retail industry making an abysmal amount of progress to change the way we shop to adopt the new technological progress. BoboVR's headset is a good entry point for those who can't justify spending $500+ on an HTC Vive but still want to experience what VR is about.
While the manufacturers are fighting for the dominance on the tech front to release video cards capable of achieving the highest FPS, it seems that the market is moving in a completely opposite direction: Minecraft and Roblox with at the very least sub-par graphics that, let's just say, don't require a lot of computing power. This standalone console has over 2,300 orders to this date.
MINI ARCADE MACHINE
We are entering the ‘useless AliExpress' territory. This looks to be a regular-sized arcade, but look at the size dimensions: it's possible to fit one of these in your pocket. Giving “pocket billiards” a new meaning.
XIAOMI MIJIA LIGHT
A light with a motion sensor. I own one of these – it mounts on the wall with adhesive strips, and works off 3 AA batteries. The motion sensor works well, the light is warm white. The batteries inside haven't been replaced yet: it doesn't draw too much power given that there is an LED inside.
Lemfo is the most popular brand on AliExpress for smart watches. This is their newer model, which comes with pedometer, sleep analysis, sedentary alarm, calculator, heart rate monitor, weather display and a remote camera control option. There are 1,200+ orders in this listing alone, and a few hundreds over the reseller listings.
XIAOMI BLUETOOTH KETTLE
Apparently, a lot of people have decided that it's worth $40 to save an extra trip to the kitchen to put the kettle on, only to wait for the water to heat up to go back again. Xiaomi have developed a kettle that can conveniently be turned on by your smartphone.
Wireless Bluetooth headphones from a well-known reputable brand that produces audio equipment. Not quite as high-end as Bose and Audio-Technica (it's hard competing with these brands as they have years of R&D efforts and a ton of money) but not as overhyped (and overpriced) as Beats either.
Lerbyee Fitness Tracker
Another budget fitness tracker option. Not quite as sleek as Xiaomi Band 3 (or any of the previous ones), but a better option for those who prefer larger displays. Features sport & sleep monitors, remote camera control, can help you find your lost phone by sending notifications to it, and has a sedimentary reminder – the reminders to stand up and walk around every pre-determined period of time.
